Husqvarna ECA850 Edger

I was told this edger would fit my Husqvarna line trimmer. It will not fit. The ends of the cable are not compatible with my trimmer. I asked online if this edger was compatible. I read the reviews, and I was satisfied with what I read. However, as stated, the ends of the flexible shaft would not match my trimmer.

Nearly no maintenance needed

I thought it was pretty good. just make sure after using it for the season you grease up a little bit where to rubber debris blocker is and other then that there's no maintenance at all.

Needs a straight shaft

I am switching over to battery power tools. I started with the lawn mower and blower, very happy. This trimmer looks like it has well, all the trimmings I am looking for. However I won’t buy it until there is a straight shaft available. My height and the torque on a curved shaft are a concern. I currently have the Echo version in gas and a straight shaft attachment. These edger attachments are great. Only way to trim up my lawns edge.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Heavy duty edger, powers thru hardpacked soil

Attached to a 525LK, this edger attachment powers through the hardest packed soils in eastern Iowa. Does have some vibration when working in really hard soils, as with any handheld edger.
