Husqvarna 525L 18 in. 25.4cc Straight Shaft Gas String Trimmer, 2-Cycle

Used it twice and it wouldn't idle after it got hot. Wouldn't recommend this product

The trimmer seems to work well. The problem is that Tractor Supply will not service the trimmer once it's out of warranty. Unless you have someone to repair any problems, you are buying a disposable trimmer.

Worked great the first time i used it, started it 2 times. went to use it again 2 weeks later and it would not start. Went thru all the checks: checked fuel, checked spark, sprayed ether in the air filter, sprayed ether directly into spark plug hole and installed spark plug with still absolutely no fire. returned to tractor supply

They never update their website. It always says they have something in store but when you get there, they don't.

This is a great machine. It's quiet, we'll balanced and, like every Husqvarna engine, it starts on the 3rd pull. I love Tractor Supply, too. Ordered online.Walked in and walked out with it. No assembly required. Thank you for the military discount, too...you guys are patriots!

Only reason I didn't give it a five is it is hard to start for a senior

Bought to replace a 15 yr old cub cadet 4 stroke. Wanted a Honda but they quit making them so figured I had a 15 yr old Husqvarna gas blower still working perfect just go with the weed eater. Starts up easily every time. Have gone through about 5 tanks and never have to use full throttle. Use to trim an acre of land. Recommend this trimmer.

Lightweight and strong and can use .105 commercial string.

Plenty powerful, able to whip through overgrown weeds with ease. Also, with it being so lightweight, 2 hours of whipping were a breeze. Machine starts easily and a tank of fuel lasts a decent amount of time. I'd highly recommend this weed whipper to anyone looking for a powerful, lightweight and ease to start machine.

Caught on fire while using. 40 days old!! Cost me $90.00 to replace it due to the service plan. I also had to buy a new service plan on the replacement. Don't buy a 2 year plan. Buy a 1 year plan because it's going to break before 1 year is up and you have to take it back and buy another service plan. I've been through 4 Husqvarna trimmers in 90 days.

Nice weed eater, plenty of power, great build quality, doesn’t seem to sling stuff back on you like other brands, which was the main reason for trying this one. I think you could weed eat with this in shorts and flip flops, though I do not recommend weed eating in shorts and flip flops

My 3rd Husqvarna trimmer, folks you cant beat a Husqvarna. I also own Echo's but my 525L and my 223L are my go to trimmers. I have serous back issues so the light weight & longer length helping balance these trimmers are truly welcomed here. Both help out greatly with back pain, thats very much appreciated & I do hope this remains a priority? I own a lot of property & occasionally we help other family/friends if needed so I keep a few trimmers on hand. Not easy locating these lightweight trimmers powerful enough to take on the tallest weeds/grass on farms. These trimmers have power to spare so I rarely go full throttle on my Husqvarna trimmers. Its just not necessary to do it but I know its always there if needed. Husqvarnas big trimmer heads hold more line than most hold & really they are very easy to load if one only reads instructions. Bend line in middle, hook center of line/loop where you bent it on spools center "hook", now wind both sides together in the direction arrows show on spools side. See arrow? Keep line slightly tight, holding fingers on lines will keep lines in place if you stop. Place both tips in small notches on spools edge to hold lines, install real back in head. Line goes on spool in one long line not two separate lines. Beware of vids loading Husqvarnas wrong online. I seen some! Yes fast feed heads are nice but don't expect one to last long. Not problem free over a decade like these Husqvarna heads do. Husq also sells each part separately for their heads. I thank you for that too, lost a spring saved me buying head once! I just bought 2 new Husqvarna trimmer heads. One replacing my 223L (2012?) I finally wore out & another one for my original Japan Shindiawa trimmer (non Echo) thats still going. Both heads do everything perfectly...Peace
