Solid quality, breaks easily

I purchased this trimmer in April 2024. It performed well under normal yard and light brush/weed trimming. In August 2024, the head /bottom circular plastic piece completely split/separated. I contacted Husqvarna, who said the bottom. head plastic piece was not available. Bottom line, I am disappointed that a $250 trimmer didn't last one season without breaking and I can't get a replacement part sent to me via mail.

Product is great, but Husqvarnas product labeling and registration and warranty extension option by buying the gallon of their premixed fuel is frustrating. My unit didn't have the necessary info easily accessible to fulfill the requirements. After sending them the images of my receipt serial number they needed other information that was not on the sticker on my unit. The qr code that was on the unit wasn't working on the app. So here's to hoping that the product works for the 5 years.

Pretty decent trimmer; not a fan of bump heads so I converted it to craftsman single string head. Seems to start well and have plenty of power! Far as I can tell it’s not made in the MTD plant; so that’s a huge plus for me; only thing I’m not happy about was it not being the kind you can change shafts on; but I knew it when buying; so I now carry two weed whips in my lawn care trailer.

Runs strong and doesnt disappoint. Only have a weeks worth of work on it, but its a solid 20 hours. It was hard to start at first but runs good now. Came with a metal blade which cuts grass and light brush; nothing woody. Pretty good at doing the high brush i need to cut. However, not sure i will buy Husqvarna in future because the chainsaw i bought with it didnt work at all. Im a STIHL guy and never had a problem with STIHL. Husqvarna products have minus in my book.

Warranty is as poor as their product. Husky sux.

Carb was way too lean & ran poorly; I can’t adjust it because Husky has special tool to do so (as opposed to just a freaking screw driver) . Took it in for adjustment, as I had a 3yr warranty. Well….”adjustments” are only covered for 90days, which I exceeded (because the unit wasn’t being used in the winter). Now I am being charged $50+ by the authorized repair center. Contacted Husky via their email (no phone # anywhere) and got no help…twice. Horrid customer service. Ghost-like. Never again Husky. Bull crap.
No, I do not recommend this product.
