Q: Assembly instructions for the block and tackle deer hoist rated for 600lbs.
7 months ago1 Answer
- A: Hi Neighbor- General Instructions & Setup (Typical for these Hoists): Assemble the Frame: (If it's a hitch-mount) Insert the hoist into your truck's hitch receiver and secure it. Attach the Pulley System: Securely mount the top pulley block to the hoist's crossbar. Thread the Rope: Run the strong rope through the pulleys, utilizing the 4:1 mechanical advantage (meaning you pull with 1/4 the force needed). Attach the Gambrel: Connect the gambrel (the Y-shaped spreader with hooks) to the main lifting hook or the block at the end of your rope system. Rig the Game: Place the gambrel hooks into the tendons (legs) of the animal. Lift Safely: Slowly crank the winch (or pull the rope) to lift the game, ensuring it clears the ground and clears any obstacles.7 months agoHelpful?

Deer Gambrel

Good quality and easy for one-person to hoist or lower a deer. With the coupon for free same day delivery, I think they lost money on the deal but it was great for me.
Yes, I recommend this product.
