Homestead Essentials compact style nesting boxes are designed to provide a private, safe, and comfortable environment for hens, promoting egg laying while discouraging brooding behavior. Each individual compartment accommodates medium size breeds and can host up to 5 hens. Made from galvanized steel, the box panels and roof offer durability, easily mounting to walls, barns, fences, or coops. The (PP) Polypropylene trays and lids are rust-proof, rot-proof, and feature a ventilation filter grid for cleanliness. Removable and washable trays help maintain a tidy nest. The basket trays have a slight forward slope to ensure eggs roll away from the anest into the collection chamber, protecting them from debris, feathers and damage. Liner use is unnecessary.
