Long burning!

Big slugs are pretty amazing. They're a little shorter and a little fatter than the usual Presto logs but they burn forever! Here's an example, I threw two of these in my wood stove, let it burn for about 2 to 3 hours and then through a large chunk of oak on top of them and went to bed. When I got up in the morning the oak was completely gone and the two fire logs were still visible and still creating Heat. The stove is it about 300°, which isn't bad for not touching it for well over 8 hours. The Presto logs are rarely anything other than a little bit of warmth inside of wood stove after leaving them in all night. I wouldn't get these over a presto log any day!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Logs

These things don’t burn very well at all. They mostly smolder. I was not happy. I don’t know if I got a bad batch, but they were very tough to light and when they did get lit, it would just sit there and smolder unfortunately I called the store and the assistant manager could really care less. She said you get what you get so it was a total waste of money.

No, I do not recommend this product.
