The spreader is built on 8 in. pneumatic tires, allowing it to roll smoothly over grass, and the controls are mounted right on the handle for easy access as you push the spreader. The hopper can hold up to 50 lb. of material at once to reduce the amount of refills needed. Made with durable metal components and a powder-coat finish, this broadcast spreader is made to last season after season. First I thought it would be in a box and have to put it together. Awesome, built and ready to use. Like the tires and light weight. Mixing insect and fire ant killer together and spreading it very well. The spreader settings could be of better quality and readable. But if you have used spreaders as much as I have, you get to now about where to set it. So overall, Im pleased.

Broke after only the second use, don't waste your money on it. Even during normal use, you have to constantly shake it for material to come out.

Poor design

the instructions for spreading quantity are terrible. instead of saying set the dial to X lbs. per Y feet, it tells you to test it yourself for each product, and then figure the setting. also, the bin, when the product gets low, the product doesn't flow to the output holes/location. i had to constantly "shake" the unit to get the product to fall to the distribution holes. if i could get a refund i would.

Leg Stand Design

Like others I did not realize the leg stand cannot be adjusted. The stand gets in the way and makes spreading over irregular ground very difficult. Cannot recommend this design.
