- A: There was tin used to solder the spout and handle onto the can. The soldering tin contains lead in really low percentages. However, we do not suggest using it in a veggie garden or to drink from.3 years agoHelpful?

Great Watering Can!

This is a great watering can. Easy to fill and add liquid fertilizers too. The nozzle works very well. Much better that the plastic ones. Also looks nice as a garden accessory when not in use :)

Do not buy. The bottom had all rust in two weeks. I contacted TS corporate office last year. Obviously they did nothing.

Poor Watering Can Nozzle
a month ago
This is a nice functional watering can but the screw-on shower head is very poorly attached at the threaded connection. I have had 2 of these come apart at this connection due to inferior soldering.

A piece of junk

Used one time and it is leaking from the base of the spout where it attaches to the can. The head also broke off. I would return it if I lived near a Tractor Supply store
