The Growtrax Big roll covers 100 sq.ft. (2.08 ft x 48 ft) and contains Seed, Micro Pellet Fertilizer and Fabric. Bermuda Rye thrives during the summer heat. with annual rye in the mix, it produces year-round results. Bermuda grasses go dormant in the winter, but Growtrax Bermuda offers excellent winter kill resistance, is drought tolerant, and produces exceptional spring "green-up" compared to other Bermuda grasses. Best suited for lower and middle south regions.

Q: What kind of seed and how much is in a roll? Most co put more ry seed in it than anything else.

Growtrax Bermuda/Rye grass mats are generally safe for pets and animals once established, but it is recommended to keep them off the area until the grass grows to at least 3 inches tall. The mixture consists of Bermuda and rye grass seeds, which are not known to be toxic to horses.

  • A: Thanks for reaching out! Our product already has the seed pre-mixed and embedded during manufacturing, so there’s no need to add any additional seed. At this time, we aren’t able to add custom seed varieties provided by customers. If you’re looking for a different seed mix, we’d be happy to help recommend one of our existing blends that might fit your needs!

  • A: Best not to use over old grass, it’s not really intended for overseeding. Clear out the old grass and turn the soil, it works best on bare, turned soil.

I am not giving it any stars yet because I am waiting to see if it works. I installed it 5 days ago and today is number 6. have kept it watered and do not have any sprouts yet. Will update my review on day 8 after 7 full days.

Not impressed with results!

Put down about 2/3rds of the 2,000 square feet of product exactly 2 weeks ago and have watered 3 times a day since and have very little grass sprouts showing. Not impressed at all so far!

No, I do not recommend this product.
