After a couple weeks of research, we settled on the Pioneer Peak playset with the standard roof as a birthday present for our twins who just turned 4. The product shipped and was delivered extremely quick - we ordered on 9/17 and it was delivered on 9/24. All of the wood pieces were clearly labeled, which made it easy for my dad and I to organize everything before construction. We ended up needing to make a trip to the hardware store for a few pieces of hardware (missing 4 t-nuts and 4 bolts, which to be honest might have been included and we just misplaced them), but we had planned on needing to make at least one trip based on experience with prior playset builds. Construction was pretty straight-forward. The assembly guide did a good job with diagrams and instructions. My dad and I are both handy and even taking our time it only took us about 20 hours to unpack, organize, and build. I'm very pleased with the sturdiness and overall quality of the product so far. I still need to apply a sealant, but so far we haven't experienced any wood chipping/cracking/splitting. And for what matters most - our kids (and all their friends in the neighborhood) love it! Watching their imaginations go to work playing different games, swinging for hours on end, having fun with their friends - my wife and I are very happy with the purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We held out buying a swing set for 5 mos until this one was finally back in stock. I'm so glad we waited because it is high quality and gorgeous. However, it took 2 competent and experienced men ~30 hours to put together. This included the time it took to run to the hardware store multiple times -- several types of bolts/other hardware were missing and as there were so many steps it was impossible to predict in advance what was missing. Also, the hardware parts were not well labelled and bolts/screws had to be measured to verify if they were the right size ones. Overall though, we were quite pleased. I also had fast responses with questions to customer service through Facebook Messenger -- for that I was super thankful!

Gorilla product is excellent quality. Instructions were clear and concise. No issues what so ever.

All of the pieces were there, information was easy to follow, install time was right around 20 hours with 2 people. All of the chains, swings, etc. are great sturdy quality. The only downside is that the wood is already loosing its coloring and starting to chafe after a couple of weeks.

I purchased this set a little over a month ago. My grandkids LOVE it. It was a bit of a project but the directions were detailed, so much so that it took a while just to rehearse over them before we (my son and I) began assembly. I was impressed with the quality of real cedar wood. A couple of items were missing when we inventoried, but they were replaced very promptly. My grandkids LOVE it, did I mention that, because that's the reason a grandpa buys a playset.

I bought this for my three children ages 7,5,3. My 7 year old has special needs and requires a lot of physical therapy to help him get stronger. Not only is this playset fun for all my kids but it also provides him with elements that are like physical therapy for him. He loves it!!! They all do. Happy to have purchased this for my kids!!!

The tire swing is much lower than I expected, and the smaller tower didn't seem to get the same safety attention as the main tower. There are no vertical slats on the slide or ladder sides, for example. Also, I was missing some hardware...I ran out of several sizes of screws despite being anal about which I used in which step.

We only had one issue while assembling the play set; two roof slat boards were defective in that the tongue and groove features were not made correctly. We just left one slat off each side of the roof. The play set seems to be well-constructed and we hope our family has many years of fun on it.

Assembly took longer than stated in instructions but directions were good. Some assembly required did not even describe it. All parts were included except 3 long hex bolts.

Good quality and durable. Easy to assamble if you separate the boxes at the beginning (10-12hrs) My kids have so much fun from 11 to 3 years old

Great Set. The only thing I would recommend is matching up the components to reference what box they come in. This would make it easier when sorting / doing the inventory. Overall, I was very happy with how the pre-drilled holes lined up. Once everything was sorted, assembly went rather quickly.
