Definitely made a difference on my back 3 acre yard. The grass greened up and looks much better than without the fertilizer

I bought my place in February. and new the lawn was going to take some real work. Looked like a dandelion farm. I am in the south and the lawn is bermuda grass I tried a name brand weed and feed granule with almost no luck. So I treated with Gordon Trimek using a 20 gallon boom sprayer. Worked great on the dandelions. Still have some wood sorrel lingering. Treated with lawn and pasture 20-0-0 and the lawn has taken off. Green in a few days. Plan to let the grass get a little deeper root then hit it with a spot treatment to get the few lingering weeds but I am 80% to where I want to be for 1/3 what I spent on the big name weed and feed with almost no results.

Great product. I mix 5 gallons with 20 gallons of water per acre. Greens up the lawn in less than a week. I recommend using it every 6-8 weeks

I've used this fertilizer for the past two years on my pastures and have had great luck with it. It's so easy to add to a 15 gallon sprayer and there's no mixing mess. The results have been extremely good.

I bought this as I moved and yard was never treated. Not a single dandelion DEAD!! it's been over a week and no results. I used up something else I had before I got this and can tell the difference. It was easy mixing based on the whole thing was dumped into my sprayer because of the size of my tank.

Easy application with atv sprayer. Worked to turn yellowing chicory plot green again.

If using an Ortho hose end dial sprayer set to 8 oz per gal you'll get close to an 8 applied to the lawn.

excellent product. Use it 3 times a year on 3 acres of lawn to give it a healthy dark green look. Neighbors lawn looks terrible in comparison, mission success.

Burnt my lawn horribly. I’m a golf course superintendent and I know my math was correct, I applied it in ideal spraying conditions and it still smoked my yard. Switched to a different brand and had great results

I bought the Gordon's Liquid Lawn and Pasture Fertilizer 20-0-0 for use in my tow along tank sprayer. I mixed it with weed killer for an all in one application. The lawn has really greened up and started growing rapidly. I am pleased with the results. i would recommend this product for large yards.

I am very happy with this product because it actually works! We had just put down new sod and had a fungi issue. The lawn pasture brought our new sod back to life!

I've used Gordon's Lawn & Pasture for a couple of years. Provides green up and this year I had a bare sport or two that is now back to full lawn. I have 1.8 acres.

I have been using Gordon's products for a year and I am happy with results. I used this with Gordon's Trimec and Amin 400 and eirher one works with Lawn & Pature 20-0-0 pretty well. I highly recommend. The only issue I have is, it's hard to find in my local TSC store.

Before I get to far I bought this knowing it only covered about a 1/3 of an acre per bottle. And it worked great. Grass greenede up after a few days and a fresh mowing. I just wish they had something that covered more square footage for the price. The reason I'm buying liquid fertilizer is to use it in a sprayer bc I have 5 acres to cover. using three of these per acre gets a little old having to stop and mix again and again. Why not come out with a more concentrated version that covers 1, 2 or 5 acres like your weed killer does? This way I can dump one bottle, mix it with water and spray without needing to stop so often?

My lawn looks better than ever. My neighbors are impressed.

I bought this product based on the previous reviews posted here with the hope that my bermuda lawn would "green up". I mixed the ratio exactly as directed and sprayed tested areas before using on entire lawn. The places I sprayed started turning brown. I diluted down further, just in case it was too strong, and still got poor results. I am glad that I did not spray down the entire lawn. Extremely disappointed that I spent money and time on a product that didn't work.

I use this in conjunction with the weed & feed. Super quick green up with very little effort. I also own the tow behind sprayer, and use the factory spray heads to put this down. I get my 5 acres done in just over 2 hrs.

I use this fertilizer with a spray rig that I strap to the front of my zero turn mower. This beats pushing a spreader over two acres. I dilute the fertilizer with water such that (water+2.5 gal fertilizer)=16 gallons for spring application. Less strong batch for summer. This stuff works better than any dry fertilizer I have used. The grass greens up quickly and stays green for 8 to 12 weeks. Do not use strong dose during summer - can burn grass.

I bought this product 3 weeks ago, and have to say that it exceeded my expectations. I normally use liquid fertilizers on my lawn, but have much more experience with higher end products that include micro-nutrients. I was looking for a straight nitrogen source that I could tank mix with herbicide when spraying weeds in my lawn. This did exactly what I was looking for. The biggest surprise for me was how much darker green my lawn became. I feed my lawn regularly, and wouldn't think it would be deficient in any nutrients, specifically nitrogen. I soil test annually and feed the lawn per the reccomendation. my My other comment would be that I am surprised how long the additional N lasted. Also-no burn in the lawn when I applied it. It is surprising how quickly the lawn responds to a folier feed vs. Granular feeding. Would definitely reccomend this product to anyone. Hope you have as good of results as I had!

My wife and I have been trying to get our roughly 8000 square feet of lawn to grow lush and green with multiple failures, wasted time and money and aggravation. I stumbled across an article outlining the affects fast-acting liquid fertilizer has on vegetation; namely grass. No major "big-box" store seems to carry a liquid fertilizer for the purpose of fertilizing lawns. They only have small hose-attached bottles for gardens. I found this 2.5 gallong bottle of fertilizer at TSC and applied it using a Fimco 15 gallon sprayer (also purchased from TSC) that I lay into the utility wagon of my lawn tractor and power the pump with the tractor’s battery. Gordon's is somewhat vague on the specifics of the application, so I made several on-line inquiries for clarification. Unfortunately I made the inquiries AFTER the application. Here are my thoughts: 1) GORDON’S SAYS: Apply according to the instructions on the bottle. Considering my sprayer uses a hand wand I had to be sure I covered all areas equally as I didn't use a boom sprayer. As I new I would have some overspray, I wore an N95 mask to capture an aerosolized particles, safety glasses and vinyl gloves to protect my hands. Perhaps a little overkill but I wanted to be safe. Just a light coat is all that is needed. Liquid fertilizer is absorbed primarily through the surface greens with secondary absorption through the roots. Do NOT water it in. I did, and I shouldn't have. Even more important, any expected rain or irrigation should be two days away. 2) GORDON’S SAYS: You should apply it when your grass is showing signs of growth, NOT when it is still dormant. For my tall fescue, it wakes up when the ground temperatures hit the 55 degree range. The air temperatures during the days should probably be in the upper 60s to 70s to really kick cool seasons grasses into high gear growth rates. I applied it in when the air temperatures were in the 50s. Though there was a warm up about 10 days later where air temps went into the upper 60s. 3) GORDON’S SAYS: Be careful not to spray anything but your grass. I had some slight overspray on a few plants and saw some burn. They do appear to be recovering however. 4) GORDON’S SAYS: Any changes to the lawn should be visible within 3-4 days. After the application, you should see the start of new growth by the lawn turning a deep green. My lawn responded later than this. I summarize why in the note at the end of the review. 5) GORDON’S SAYS: If you see growth in some areas but not in others it is OK to re-spray those areas with expected overspray on the advanced growth. If the lawn isn't mowed you might see areas where the lawn is growing more vigorous than in other areas. That's a good indication that you've missed a few spots. 6) GORDON’S SAYS: Once the grass begins to show signs of growth, it is important to begin a watering routine. Grass grows very vigorous with a strong and steady supply of nitrogen, but not without water. We've been very dry here in Connecticut so I've had the sprinkler going for 15 minutes first thing in the AM and then another 15 minutes in the later afternoon. I would of course time my watering with any rain we may have. I’ll also back off the watering once the lawn reaches a thick 3” deep, as some areas already are. The deeper the grass, the more moisture retention the surface will have as the amount of sunlight penetrating to the first one inch above the ground greatly reduces evaporation. If you begin to see signs of decay (yellowing and stem rot) you're watering too much or too late in the afternoon. I saw this, backed off the watering to 8 minutes every other day and the decay went away rather quickly as the rot dried out. 7) GORDON’S SAYS: Reapply when the lawn's color begins to lose that deep green or the growth between mowings (in my case in the dead heat of the summer) is barely noticeable. I'm not there yet of course, but I will be keeping an eye on things. Results: Just that, RESULTS. We've finally experienced that deep, lush green lawn we've desired. I applied the fertilizer a little over a month ago. While results were slower than 3-4 days (I watered it in, washing away perhaps 50% or more of the fertilizer) and it was cold (50s) we still have the thickest and greenest yard in the neighborhood. I can only imagine what the lawn growth would have been if I actually applied it properly. I will make another application in May if the temperatures are still appropriate, with maintenance applications of Gordon's 10-10-10 throughout the summer and then 20-0-0 come mid-September with another in mid-October. I hope this review helps others with their lawn problems. We've invested many hours, dollars and products into our yard and have tried "it all." I am comfortable saying that this solution is the best I’ve experienced. Of course, I still recommend getting your soil tested as we did. It’s good to know what you have. UCONN has a great department that will test your soil should you be in the New England area. Should I see any changes in the applications or have other thoughts I will attempt to make updates to this review. Happy Lawn-Caring!

I have been using the liguid lawn fertilizer now fo 2 years, i enjoy and get better results from it than I was the granular form. One reason is i can mix other things with it and really cuts down on my time of spraying.

I used this in partnership with one of your liquid weed killers in my pull-behind lawn sprayer last year and found it to be easy to apply and I got great results with weed control and had the best looking grass and thickest lawn in years. What was especially nice was the fact that I didn't have to use more than two applications over the season and did very little watering to maintain the lush-look of my yard. The thing I had to be careful of was not getting too close to our flower plantings because I was using it in combination with a weed killer. Being as my applications were liquid made the job quick and easy and I believe much more effective than using the granular stuff. I have found that the prices for these products are always lowest at TSC and are always in stock and I have already purchased this year's supply.
