This was sold to us by a Tractor Supply employee as a topical use pesticide for lice or mites on goats. It states specifically on the bottle that it is not for topical use. Had to return this and get a product designed for our needs.

This is the same product and same strength (.5%) as higher priced/quantity products labeled for uses as clothing and gear treatment. I use a sprayer to soak down all my pants, socks, hiking boots, shirts, jackets, hats. Can be used on other hiking/camping gear safely - if not sure, just google Sawyer Permethrin and follow their package directions. BUT YES, this is safe and effective in treating clothing, for those who wish to remain as tick free as possible.
