Q: Will this electric dolly turn a 24 ft tandem axle boat trailer on level concrete

A: Thank you for your question. If the center of gravity is positioned too far rearward, the ball joint will not be under pressure, which may cause the tire to slip.

Q: How do you stop the boat after its been moved to its desired location? will this move a 3,000 boat over a 1.25" lip into a storage unit?

A: Thank you for your question, Jeff. This item has no brake system, so it should be parked on a flat surface, and it cannot go over a 1.25-inch lip.

Q: can a 2 5/16 inch ball be substituted for the 2 inch ball?

1 Answer
  • SuperHandy Support
A: Thanks for your question, Jeanne! Yes, you should be able to use your own 2" ball as a substitute—as long as the new ball has the same shaft diameter and thread pitch as the original. If those match, it should install and function properly with the dolly.

Does just OK

It works ok, but it doesn’t have brakes. Maneuvering isn’t a simple project, but it gets a job done.

Different Tire Height Impact

We used it for the first time this weekend and I had sent a note back to your company about the fact that the tires are different heights so it wobbles until a load is added.

Product not working

I have received and assembled the trailer dolly, but there seems to be a problem with the equipment.  It only works when plugged into an outlet (power).  It does not work on the battery.  We have already charged the battery for more than 1 day; but nothing works. Please advise Thanks
