The Garden Safe 4 lb. Crawling Insect Killer with Diatomaceous Earth is a no-odor, non-staining insect control solution. Use Garden Safe diatomaceous pesticides both indoors and outdoors to kill listed crawling insects on contact. When crawling insects encounter or ingest this diatomaceous powder, they die within 24 hours. It's designed to control cockroaches, ants, beetles, fleas, bed bugs, carpet beetles, millipedes, crickets, silverfish and others as listed on the label. Use a hand duster, power duster or squeeze bottle (all sold separately) to apply.
- Use no-odor, non-staining Garden Safe diatomaceous earth indoors or outdoors to control listed crawling insects on contact
- Insects encounter or ingest diatomaceous powder and die within 24 hours and don't become immune to its killing action
- Kills cockroaches, ants, silverfish, beetles, fleas, bed bugs and other crawling insects as listed
- Use a hand duster, power duster or squeeze bottle to apply in areas where crawling insects are found (sold separately)
- Dust insects directly, if possible, and reapply when dust is no longer present or if insects are observed

I thought since it was sold at Tractor Supply it was food grade safe for Mammals.
I bought it to control ants and scorpions however this is the refined high silica earth
I won’t use it around my property. Even if I bury it animals like cats and armadillos dig

Warning! While a lot of DE is considered food grade -- i.e. safe for vegetables -- this specific product is not meant for use on edible plants. The product is misleading and they do not list the 15% of unspecified ingredients. Don't use this on veggies. Go get food grade DE and leave this on the shelf.

Used it on peas and did not work at all. Fireants, aphids, army worms, and also leafhoppers thrived right in it. Applied good and no rain. Still looking for something without burning the plants. This did not do the job but it didn't burn the plants but didn't drive away the bugs or kill them.

Used this season on squash for squash bugs.It works some. But rain washes it off. I had to keep applying it. After the last rain The eggs hatched big time. Never seen so many monster bugs. They destroyed my plants.I am very unhappy that you have to keep applying. I need a product that stays on during rain. I am very disappointed.

I read alot of online reviews on this product. Almost everyone said it was effective. I tried it and seen positive results. Ever since I applied it, I haven't seen any more bugs. It's been working very well and I would honestly recommend it if you are having problems. Its probably a cheaper solution than having an exterminator come in. With that being said, I wouldn't say its a cure all though. Just keep an eye out. If your bug problem continues call a professional.

Cucumber Beatles and Squash Bugs were distroying my garden. Had no luck with any of the remedies I had read about until I read use Diatamaeous Earth and it worked wonderfully.
