Wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing, as they do NOT hold 50lbs of feed.
There was no scoop in either that I purchased, and the opening is rather small.

Says 50lbs, it is definitely not. I have multiple of these for 50lb and even an 80lb one, this one is NOT 50; maybe 30lbs.

I purchased 2 of these and 2 50lb bags of chicken feed. 1 for my layers and 1 for my chicks. The containers do not hold 50 lbs of chicken feed. I had leftover feed in both bags I had to find storage elsewhere for. They are easy to move around even when full and seal well. Neither one came with the scoop, so be prepared to purchase a scoop separately.

Has kept food fresh, but as others have stated, it does NOT hold 50lbs. of small layer pellets. Mine also did not come with the supposed free scoop.

It's ok...leaks terribly!

Rodent proof but NOT waterproof. Haven't had any critters get into the container, but it leaks like a sieve!! It's a good thing my chickens like wet food and I go through food fairly quickly so it doesn't have time to mold but it's very inconvenient. If it was stored in a weatherproof place, it would be great, but at the moment I need to cover the tops. Also, water gets under the rim and then when the temp drops, the lids freeze to the container!! That's super fun...

Not squirrel proof

Purchased to keep bird seed in for my mother-in-law because I have one for dog food. This version doesn't seem to be as thick/strong of material as the one I use for dog food. That was proven as squirrels or chipmunks chewed though the top of the container exposing the seed. Obviously, not squirrel proof.

This is a rather deceiving product. When you see it, it looks so small, however it will 100% fit all 50lbs of chicken feed. I’m quite happy with this purchase, and I think my favorite part is the little design on the sides.

This is a sturdy container that I bought to put my birdseed in. It is made of thick plastic and is not likely to be "broken into" by mice or other seed seeking critters.
The lid...the lid stinks. It does not fit correctly and rarely can I get it to seat correctly to get a seal and fully close the lid. So even though no one can chew into the side of the container, they might be able to pop the lid off. Not sure if this is flaw on just mine or if others have similar issues.
Overall, it is a nice container but not one I would choose again given the lid issues.
