The Frost King Automatic Electric Heat Cable Kits is 6 ft. long, 120V x 7 Watts/ft. This energy-saving electric water pipe heat cable helps protect your cold-water and hot-water pipes from freezing. The heat cable has a grounded safety plug and a built in thermostat. The thermostatically controlled cable will cycle on and off as needed for the ambient temperature. for indoor use only, use on metal or plastic PVC pipes.

2 years ago- A: Hi Jana, According to the vendor: Yes, the customer can use it for this purpose, but they would have to use a smaller heat cable – the HC3 – 3 ft. for this use otherwise there is way too much excess and you can’t overlap the cables.
