If there is air flow, we also suggest keeping your eye on the pouches, as you may need to replace them a little more often due to the air flow drying out the essential oils a little quicker than usual. Once the oils dry out and the scent is diminished, you would need to discard the old ones and replace with new ones. The pouches are fast-acting and will help keep mice out of the chicken coop. A: Hello Pen1. Once you take the pouch out of the box and remove the cellophane, place the entire pouch where your problem areas are. The pouch will look like 2 large tea bags attached together by the cardboard header. Do not remove the cardboard or cut the pouch in half. Please feel free to reach out should you have any questions.
