Great little grain feeder for goats and sheep

I have purchase over 15 of these little feeders. Real sturdy we use them in our barns for feeding grains and salt. We add carabiner clips to them and use them when our kids show at local and state fairs. I would highly recomend these little feeders for anyone who has goats and sheep.

Do not buy for goat feeders

These are not built strong enough for goats. I bought five and all but two have been totally destroyed. The sides cracked and the back mounting area busted away from the wall. Now, they’re on the ground and useless.

I thought it would be 1.75 qt. per side not both sides added together. Seems even smaller than that.

Takes Abuse

This feeder can take a lot of abuse from my Norwegian Dwarf goat with a nice set of horns. He likes nothing better but to bang it up while impatiently waiting to be fed. Lasted 2 years before he finally broke it off the barn wall. I quickly replaced it with another.
