Beautiful, but stain fades quicker than I'd like

Beautiful, sturdy and my cat loves to sleep on it!! I just wished that the wood and stain would hold up better, esp as it's near impossible to sand and touch up with the webbing. It seems to be taking a beating within the first year. It's too expensive for that. Maybe it's Dallas ....
