With its large hopper capacity, this corn feeder allows you to supplement their natural forage diet, while enjoying less frequent refills. Using a 12V battery and digital timer, this deer feeder also allows you to easily set custom feeding intervals anywhere from 1-6 times per day. A solar panel on top of the feeder keeps the battery charged; no plugs or replacement batteries needed. Other great features of this corn feeder include the varmint-proof spinner plate that deters pests, an easy-access hinged lid and a viewing window that lets you keep an eye on the remaining corn levels. Simply stake the corn feeder to the ground, fill the hopper and set your preferred feeding times to get started.

Feeder seems pretty good so far. Had it out a couple weeks so time will tell. Went together good, no holes were out of alignment or anything. Came with enough styrofoam for the kids to destroy the house with it. The spring assembly to hold the lid closed was missing. Called tractor supply and was able to speak with an American with no foreign accent that I could understand and she was very helpful. But even she said I probably will never receive it by the time they reach out to their vendor and they contact them back. Oh well. Ratchet strap easy fix. I say go for it, it’s just money, you can make more of it.

This was my first time purchasing a feeder for my new lease. Having researched about 20+ options, I found this one fit all of my criteria- strong, simple operation, critter proof, and portable enough I could move it myself. The setup took all of 5 minutes once I was inside the hopper and attaching my rechargeable battery. The pre-labeled electrical leads made this super easy. I had this feeder tested and running within 5-6 minutes of getting it on the ground. I will definitely buy more of these.

I was hesitant to buy this because of its size. I could not be more pleased. We have cattle at the ranch and they have destroyed other feeders that don’t have pins. This one has held up great. It has the most intuitive control board that I have ever seen on a feeder. Great product at a great price! Great job Field and Stream!

Feeder overall is good. Size, price, height are all excellent. The motor doesn’t spin fast enough to throw product over 15 feet. Most falls right at the feeder or under it. My other feeders spin much faster and cover 30 to 40 foot radius. They spin at 3450 rpm. I think this one is at 1750 or less. I work with electrical and motors daily, in my profession.

Design for this feeder is very similar to the Treeline and even the Game Winner model at Academy. Out of all feeders, the design of these feeders is most similar to Texas Hunter, which is the best feeder out there. Also much more expensive especially after shipping costs. The short height (ground to motor) of this feeder is my only complaint. A lot of corn falls right under the motor and the short height makes for tight quarters for a buck to feel comfortable. If this feeder came with leg extensions it would be hands down the best for the money.
