Q: If my dog licks it is it safe

1 Answer
  • A: Thankfully, minor amounts of Triple Antibiotic Ointment (TAO) aren't toxic if your dog accidentally licks the medicine off the skin. However, ingesting TAO is never recommended, as it is meant to be used as a topical ointment only. Please cover wound to stop dog from licking ointment off.

Thick but works

Very easy to use and really seems to be helping our cat with care of a ruptured tumor that’s inoperable. She’s cooperative and this seems to do more for her than the prescription ointment we’ve been using. It’s just a little too thick so the tube busted. We use the hole to dispense as it’s so much easier.
