Q: Can this be used on my 5 gallon plastic waterer?
4 months ago- A: Hello, thank you for reaching out. No, this unit cannot be used with a plastic waterer, it is designed for use with double wall metal founts only.4 months agoHelpful?
Q: The instructions say no extension cords? Its only 125W....most external extension cords can handle over 1000w. Why is this in the instructions?
4 months ago- A: Hello Lupe, Thank you for reaching out to Farm Innovators. *99% of the products you purchase that are designed to plug into an outlet say, “do not use with an extension cord.” This is due to liability issues. You are using our product with another company’s product, which we have not tested before. Therefore, without testing, we cannot explicitly endorse using our product with an extension cord. However, most consumers use our product with extension cords because they have to. As with most products of this nature. So, I think you will be fine to use ours with an extension cord. Let us know if you have any questions after using it.4 months agoHelpful?
Q: Is the heater weight sensitive as far as it coming on
6 months ago- A: No, the Farm Innovators 125W Heated Base Coop Heater is not weight sensitive. It is thermostatically controlled to operate based on the ambient air temperature, not the weight of the waterer placed on it.6 months agoHelpful?

Q: Can this be used as a surface for chickens to warm up on?
6 months ago- A: Good morning, Miss thank you for reaching out to Farm Innovators. I would not recommend the HP-125 to warm up chickens. This unit gets very hot. I do recommend the PH-200 this product is designed for that purpose thank you,.6 months agoHelpful?
Q: Will this catch wood shaving or straw bedding on fire?

Q: I need this for outside bowl for food,is this good for that
6 months ago- A: Hello Pennie, Thank you for reaching out to Farm Innovators. I would not recommend the HP-125 because it would cook the food more than keep it warm. I would recommend our PH-200, which is a chicken warmer, but if put next to the food dish it will send out enough heat to keep it from freezing. Thank you,6 months agoHelpful?
Q: Can this be used outdoors
6 months ago- A: Yes, the Farm Innovators 125W Heated Base Coop Heater can be used outdoors, but it must be in a dry, covered area. It is designed with weather-resistant materials like rust-resistant galvanized steel for durability in unheated coops, pens, or sheltered outdoor areas. For safety, the cord should be protected from animals and the unit should always be plugged into a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) protected outlet.6 months agoHelpful?
