Form and function!

Very happy with this heater. I’ve had several propane heaters and this looks better and performs better than any of them. No thermocouples to replace or li Ed to clear spiders out of too. I used my BBQ pellets at first and it went through a 20lb bag in two uses. I quickly found out there are “fuel” pellets that are 1/6th the cost so pick up bags of those when you can. The glass does black over after a couple is uses but a quick wipe with a paper towel clears them up and it’s quite pretty to look at.
The only downside is that it takes longer to cool down and I wouldn’t leave it unattended while it’s doing that (I have a wood deck). I’m ok with this as I usually use this in the morning. I setup my “office” out on the deck under a gazebo and fire up the heater in the morning when it’s chilly (all year in the PNW). After a couple of hours if it’s nice out it’s warm and I stop the pellets. I haven’t timed it but I’d guess may 30-45 minutes for the pellets in the box to be used up and for the entire heater to cool where I’d feel comfortable walking away. I knew this when I bought it so it’s not a minus on the unit, just a con vs a propane heater when is usually cool in ~5 minutes.

Love the Idea - Quickly Rusting Away

I love the concept. I love the ambiance of a wood burning patio heater. At this price point, I would expect the unit to hold up to the elements better than it is. We started using this in April/May 2022. So it was out of the box brand new this year. We purchased the cover thinking that it would help prolong the life of what we felt was an expensive investment in our outdoor recreation. We've covered the unit with the OEM cover after every burn, yet the rust on the stove pipe and "fireplace" component is disappointing....especially at this price point. The directions do say to expect rust...but in no way did I think it would look like this after only five months, especially when using the cover from day one. I have a grill from a very reputable national brand and there's not a flake of rust on it and I've had it outside (covered) for nearly ten years! I wish I could love this. The burn chamber is also wasting away..you can see the "grate" that the pellets slide down, already starting to disintegrate. We burn one, maybe two times per week so it's not like we have 100 burns in the unit. I'm only posting this review so others know what they're buying when they decide to make the investment.

Easy to use - not much heat though. Even on high, you can feel the heat only when close to the fire box - definitely need to crowd around. Perhaps it would benefit from a larger domed heat reflector on the top of the chimney? \\

On low there is barely any heat.
On high it gets warmer but you need to very close to it.

This patio heater is going to be very nice for the cool fall and winter nights. The assembly/installation was very quick and easy, less than 30 minutes by myself. It is also very easy to move around since it has wheels on the back so you just tilt it back and roll it where you want it, just make sure it’s cool first. The heat thing puts off is also very nice even though my patio is open right now so I’m sure it’ll be even better after we enclose the patio more. There is little to no noise from operation since it’s powered by wood pellets so it’s very efficient with no noisy parts. The packaging says it can last around 3 hours on a full hopper on low (30 lbs.) but when I was testing I only put a couple pounds in the hopper and didn’t even use all of it and got around a hour of heating so I can see it lasting longer than advertised. Overall I’m very happy and impressed with this heater and can’t wait for cooler nights to use it more.

This is the best. So far on the chili mornings with setting on high we are able to comfortably sit outside and drink coffee. Of course it is early fall but the ease and immediate heat is a plus.

Decent stove for the price

Seems to be of reasonable quality for the price and I like the firebox design. The fire display is great and gives off reasonable heat. But the pellet flow regulation could be better. There's really only two positions, high and low. And if you switch from low to high, sometimes the rush of pellets puts out the fire. But it's less than half the cost of some other premium brands and in my opinion, has a nicer view of the fire.

Assembly went well. Had it for just over a year. Seasoned it as should. Found out you have to kinda put more pwllwts in the hopper to start then that drop. I just pulled them down with the tool they gave you from the internal chute. After just a year, of using it minimally, keeping it covered with the appropriate factory made cover, it has rust. Only complaint. Should not rust after it has been seasoned and covered from weather. Does add nice ambiance and I do not feel like I'm wasting fuel like propane.

Don't waste your time and money. This thing is useless.
It puts out heat wide open equalvilant to a candle. It smokes
more than it should, the glass soots up so bad til you can't
even see the fire. I wasted a good bag of pellets on this thing.
My next move is to drag it to the side of the road for garbage
pick up.

If you live in an area where the heating pellets are not available, you can use the cooking pellets just fine. They will work the same. You just don't want to cook with the heating pellets.

Great idea. And it burns really hot. However, the availability of pellets in the shoulder seasons of winter or even cool summer nights would be rather difficult. So you should stock up is a little hard to get used to regulating the temperature. And seems to burn a lot of fuel to me. But I’ve only used it three times.

This item did not perform as expected. The hopper does not feed the pellets well and the heat that is put off from this unit is not much. It is more decorative than anything. Hopefully, they can improve the design.

Easy assembly and great value

Purchased two patio heaters for our Pergola and assembled them in about 30 mins. Pay attention to the directions of which way the stove pipe is the be arranged prior to screwing together. Only one thing o would change is the door latch. The handle ought to be on the outside of the catch. My doors close tight and the catch needs to be pressed behind the keeper to close. The other option is to bend the catch but I was affaid this would make the door too loose.
All in all very happy with the purchase.
