Great, all natural ointment for cuts and abrasions

I love this ointment! It has a great consistency, and works to add a protective barrier to cuts. And I love the natural ingredients. You can't beat Equiderma for all skin care products. We have had our personal and training barn stocked with their products for over 5 years and we have been extremely happy with their products!

Soothing and amazing for burns

I love this for my mare's teats! She gets really grimey there and I know it has to be uncomfortable. After every bath I apply a thick layer and it keeps that funky black buildup from occurring. It's also great for cuts and scrapes, and I use it on myself, my dogs and kids too (especially for burns from cooking!! I think the secret is to put it on a burn right away, you don't even get a scar, it's crazy!)

This stuff is magical!

One of my geldings had a wound just below his knee that would not heal due to the location, no matter what I tried; ultimately, it led to a joint infection. When the infection was cleared, the wound persisted, and I decided to try Equiderma. After glopping this product on the wound a few times, that nasty little thing finally began to clear up and, within a couple of weeks, closed over. It worked so measurably effectively that of course, it's now my go-to to cover up a (cleaned and ready for ointment) wound/scar. Another gelding looked like Frankenstein with 14 stitches in the chest; after Equiderma, there's no scarring. I wish I had known about this stuff before owning multiple thin skinned OTTBs! I would recommend it to anyone hoping to avoid scars/proud flesh and to help heal stubborn wounds.

A Must Have For Your First Aid Kit!

I first got the Equiderma Wound Ointment with Neem & Calendula when a horse at my barn had an encounter with a fence board and ended up with some proud flesh. Two years later, I am still buying and restocking this item! It heals cuts and scraps fast, and is easy to apply. The Neem and Calendula repel insects from the wounds, so I gravitate to it even more in the summer months. My mare currently has some hocks rubs and so I have been using it on them, and already noticed an improvement after two days of use.
