Earthquake 212cc model 33968

Surprised at how small of a box this came in but even more surprised at the power of this machine after I got it together, (which didn’t take much time at all). Had to do a lot of limbing of oak and maple and crape Myrtle and even an ash in my back yard. Then decided to take down two 35foot leyland cypress trees that got too big for the area they were in. With the exception of the trunks just about anything 3” or smaller went through the machine. 3” branches will stall it now due to needing resharpened or new knives. I’ve put a lot of stuff through this machine over the past 4 days with no problems. I do wish it had a vac hose attachment though but it does not.

Does the Job

This is a good machine that does exactly what it says it does. Had a slight learning process working out how best to use it - not cutting thin branches too short for example, and checking for pine cones in the brush. Once I had that sorted, it worked extremely well.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Trimming branches of branches is work too.

Somewhat tricky to assemble. Starts up easily after finding the on-off switches. Chips limbs but I then became aware that limbs at 2" to 3" thick also have limbs growing from them. As such, I have to trim these off before shredding main branch and thusly removed small branches. Not as much a work saver as I naively expected.
