This is the generator to get for high altitude home power back up running on fuel stabilized gasoline. In addition to monthly load tests, my calendar is set for 6 months from now without fail to take a full day to burn through most of my fuel, and then refill with fresh 87 octane stabilized gas. This generator doesn’t lie about its real running watts at altitude. Yes, it’s loud. And the Texas Instruments-like cheap display doesn’t show running wattage output, but my home power monitoring app software does, so I’ll forgive this, because it really does perform. I have 8hrs on mine, all properly broken in. So easy to remove the generator’s floating neutral for my home’s transfer switch. XP15000hxt+ Manual has a typo with the oil quantity: it’s not 1.1 liters listed, it’s 1.2 liters of oil to fill. Super pleased. If you were to make this in a 15000k peak/12k running watt inverter generator, I’ll upgrade again too.

Appears to be a heck of a machine

Well…assembled according to instructions however battery was seriously discharged. Hooked up a Deltran tender I use for a motorcycle and after 2.5 hours it showed fully charged. I did start unit with the recoil rope. After charging the unit did fire up on battery. Hopefully battery performs like it should going forward after using the tender it comes with

I live in Houston and we have power outages all the time. I got this to replace my older generator. So far I have not had to use it. From what I can tell this generator is a beast. I love the tri-fuel feature. Natural gas is the way to go. No more sitting in lines for gas. When the next storm comes we will be ready to keep the lights and a/c on.

Kind of disappointed

A friend has a PD of 7500 watts and the same AC, when the power supply was missing he could start his AC and I couldn't start my AC on natural gas. In my opinion, it is not worth the money
