The only other item that could be in the cubes is a binder, called Benzonite. Maximum would be 2% but most of our suppliers use about a .5% or none at all. Would give a 1 if I could. - metal in cubes

I have been a supporter of Dumoor for a while now . Unfortunately, I have found 3 inch pieces of wire in 2 separate bags of Dumoor cubes, about a month a part so it seems to be a continuing problem. I will not risk my horses health on their products any longer.

Alfalfa cubes

I have a senior horse with worn teeth that make eating hay difficult. I put him on alfalfa cubes two years ago and eats them right up, maintaining his weight and coat condition.
The cubes need to be soaked for 20-30 minutes before being fed which once you adjust to that it becomes automatic. In the winter I add warm water giving the added benefit of a warm meal on a cold day.
I have tried other brands but find less crumbling and better quality with Dumor. The price is as good if not better than the competition.

I wish I didn’t have to go to both TSCs in my area to buy my feed. But one store seems to be out of the feed I buy a lot so I go to other store and hope they have it.

Horse, rabbits and goats like it

Horse and Rabbits love it, goats love the shake at the bottom of the bag so there isn't any waste for us. It's pretty consistent, I know people complain about the amount of shake and that it's not 100% cubes but that would be impossible. That's from shipping it and the more it's handled the more it's going to get jostled around therefore more gets knocked off the cubes and you get shake in the bag. Now I have goats so I just let all of that fall to the bottom of the bag and give it to them, no waste. Now my friend has 7 horses, she just takes it and dumps it all in a bucket and adds the water, though not as much as if it were a chbe and feeds it, no waste. So either way, yes you are going to have shake, it has to be handled during shipping, then stocking, then purchase, then loading in your vehicle then unloading etc, but let it fall to the bottom of the bags, wait until you have enough to feed out for whatever herd you have and feed it, no waste.
