Q: How do you decode the date??? There should be a section in the menu to get this information.

1 Answer
  • A: The date code is stamped on the bottom of the back of package. I’ve attached our document on how to read our date codes and is the manufactured date. For example, a lot code 09017BE1717P translates into May 17, 2017. The E in the lot code is identified my the month of the year (see attachment), which is May. The next two digits is the year, 2017. Then the last two digits is the day in the month. The last letter is ignored. Electrolytes have a two year shelf life from the manufactured date. The product should be a loose powder and not clumped. Also, there will be an orange tint. If the powder is clumpy and brown, then I would suspect moisture and/or heat damage. I do not recommend using the package.
