Use your ATV to efficiently and evenly spread seed, fertilizer, or lime with the DR Power Equipment 125 lb. Receiver Spreader. Designed for areas of a quarter acre or more, this 125 lb. capacity tow behind spreader makes broadcasting seed or fertilizer from your ATV or UTV fast and easy. The lawn spreader has a 12 ft. broadcast width and, unlike hand-held or waist-mounted spreaders, it will spread evenly. Simple-to-use controls are easily accessible from the seat of your vehicle. The ATV spreader's large capacity minimizes the need to refill the hopper. Rain cover keeps seeds dry so you can plant in any weather. Installs to a 1.25 in. or 2 in. receiver.

Q: Can this spreader work with sand
4 months ago- A: Hi there! This spreader is designed for grass seed, fertilizer, and other small granular materials. We have not tested it with sand, and because sand is heavier and can flow differently, we do not recommend using sand in this unit, since it could clog or damage the spreader.4 months agoHelpful?
Q: would this work attach to the front of a bad boy roguemower used for lawn application.
a year ago- A: Thanks for your question! Assuming your mower has a 1.25 in. or 2 in. receiver hitch, our receiver spreader should be compatible.a year agoHelpful?
Q: Will the seed slot open enough to plant garbanzo beans?
2 years ago- A: Hello, Scott, Thanks for reaching out. The slot opening/ exit hole is approximately 12mm. Depending on the size of the garbanzo bean (typically, 8mm-10mm+), it is possible that it could technically function - dependent on the seed diameter, however, this would not be our recommendation, nor would it be an effective use case.2 years agoHelpful?
Q: Will this work as a salt spreader?
2 years ago- A: Hi there, Thank you for your interest in our products Scott. This product can be used to spread salt. However, you would need to make sure that the hopper and any metal components are thoroughly rinsed after each use.2 years agoHelpful?
Q: My Polaris Ranger UTV has a car battery. Do I need to buy a separate, 12 volt ATV battery to power this spreader? If so, how many amps are needed to power this spreader?
5 years ago- A: Thank you for your question. This machine is meant to attach to the 12 V battery on the tow vehicle. A battery with a different voltage would either cause damage or not be sufficient power for the unit. There isn't a specific amperage required to power the unit.5 years agoHelpful?
