The Dig Defence Animal Barrier is a patented drive-in ground fence panel that extends the protection of any fence. The welded strong 4 gauge steel rods of this in-ground pet fence are proudly made in the USA and completely galvanized to create a long term solution. All types of fences can be secured with Dig Defence, including but not limited to chain link, wood privacy, and decorative. Each unit in this pack of in-ground dog fence panels is 32 in. in width and 8 in. in depth with 2 in. spike spacing for max protection. Using only a hammer and pair of gloves, keep pets in and pests out with Dig Defence.

- A: Maybe an inch at the most. These were too expensive for me to use all around the fence. The best solution was to put down fencing, how wire I think. Lay it all around the perimeter of your fence. Get zip ties or some type of tie. I believe my ex used some type of handheld thing that easily attached this flat fence to your chain link fence. You could then cover it up with mulch. The type they put down. I could mow over with a push lawn mower but I would not with a riding. It may be worth for getting all that and just by a wireless controlled collar and set up that gives the dog a static shock, when he goes out of the circle. Ask Tractor supply they can help with all those items.5 years agoHelpful?

Q: How do these work in stony or shale ground? We have pounded posts into the ground for years for the horses and it is not unusual to have to move several inches one way or another to get a place to be able to drive it in.

- A: Thank you for your question, we always ask consumers before purchase to please be sure that this product will be able to be installed, ie. (no solid rock or poured concrete at the preferred area). If the area is slightly rocky, the spikes are malleable enough to move around roots and certain rocks during installation. If you come across an area that is solid and installation is not achievable, the spike coming into contact can be removed with a bolt cutter.7 years agoHelpful?
