- A: Thank you for your question. We would suggest looking at the XL model for greater depth and smaller spike separation. The XL model has 1.5" spike separation. Also if the animals you are trying to deter can still squeeze through, you can install 2 units in the same area and stagger the second unit to cut the spike separation down further.4 years agoHelpful?

Q: Which size do you recommend for a small lop eared bunny? I want to use these inside my 1/3 acre chicken run to keep him in during the day.

- A: Thank you for your question, survey the fence to check the size of gaps between the bottom of the fence and ground. If they are no more than 3", the Small/Med Animal Barrier will suffice. Be sure to interlock the units with the fence to "tie" it to the ground. If there is any area where the gap is larger than 3 to 4 inches, look at the XL Animal Barrier for length and small spacing between tines. The idea is to be sure that at least half of the unit is installed into the ground, this will help in determining the correct unit for your need.7 years agoHelpful?
