Cuisinart Stainless Steel Griddler Grill and Panini Press

We bought this grill 2 weeks ago. During our move to a new location, we tossed out our gas grill. This is our "grill" until we get a new gas grill. After some fussing and stretching of the spring cable guard on the back, we were able to get the plates to fold flat. We learned that after we tried grilling the first time. This may be a quality issue? It didn't work correctly right out of the box. Everything else worked fine, and do like the removable plates. Whomever manufactures this or distributes this should take a random one and put it to use. Best way to learn what obstacles consumers run into. Very good product, but could use some "consumer insight" and improvement.

'Large' long 1/4 lb hot dogs don't fit--longer than grill. Can't turn sideways-they pop out. Suggestions?

This has been an easy product to use. My favorite part is how easy it is to clean.

I’ve owned other panini presses but this one out performs others. The ease of cleaning is a plus!
