Noisy, But Works Very Well

This coffee maker is very convenient for making single-serve cups of coffee any time during the day without having to set up a coffee maker with filters and ground coffee just for a single cup. I use either stainless steel or one-time-use K-Cups that I pre-load for the number of cups I may want throughout the day for an easy, quick cup of coffee. The 72-oz water reservoir is plenty for my normal day, but it can be refilled quickly if necessary. The only complaint I have is that it is very noisy when brewing. Brewing seems to set up a vibration through the plastic drip tray, the metal drip tray deck, and the cup that is sometimes enough to move the cup toward the edge of the drip tray (there is a very small lip that sticks up past the metal drip tray deck, so I haven’t had a cup fall off - yet). If there were some way to make the drip tray and deck fit more tightly into the body of the coffee maker, or to isolate them from the pump’s vibrations, the noise problem might be tamed, but right now it is a bit noisy. Based on my experience, I would recommend this coffee maker to a friend.

Had 2-3 of the previous model and absolutely loved the machine. The new one is not as nice. Home barista reusable filter broke within 2 months. The top came detached from the base as it only had a plastic hinge. When we use the older style that we have had for over ten years the water is not channeling correctly and still out into the head and drips nastiness into the cup requiring daily cleaning. Won’t buy multiples of this model like I did the last.
No, I do not recommend this product.
