Another Excellent Cuisinart Product

The best toaster of any size I have ever had! Whether it was toast, bagel or English muffin, it was perfect every time. The added bonus was that it didn’t take up much space on the counter.

I was hesitant to purchase a plastic toaster after my steel version that lasted 20 years. However, this little machine has been working great. Light and consistent; I'm very happy with the choice.

Honestly Disappointing

I like well toasted toast, not burned, but crispy. On the highest setting, my toast comes out at a medium level of toasted at best (sometimes more medium-low). For having 7 setting levels, I find this pretty shocking. Even more so since this was a Wirecutter recommendation. I'm very disappointed and wish I had purchased a different toaster. What are the other 6 settings even for?
