One of the best hammers

I've been using this for the past month do auto work. It's been an amazing hammer for everything. I've been separating ball joints, knocking off rotors, beating dents out. It's been an amazing all around hammer. The grip is the best, even with oil and grease on my hands it doesn't slip.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Sturdy and balanced one handed sledgehammer

I have used this hammer a couple of times and it is an effective tool for it's purpose. I used it to break up a large piece of concrete that I needed to get rid of and it handled the job quite easily with only a couple of blows. I also used it to crack ice that had built up on my concrete steps. Once again this posed no challenge to this hammer. The handle is comfortable and easy to hold, and the hammer is well balanced and easy to swing accurately. It is very solid and well constructed. It is also attractive with bright finishes.

Yes, I recommend this product.

This hammer isn’t just a tool—it’s a problem solve

I’ve been turning wrenches on classics for years, and let me tell you—sometimes finesse won’t cut it. You need a hammer that means business. The Crescent Trade Hammer with its 4 lb head? That’s the one I reach for when the job calls for persuasion. First time I used it was on a ’68 Mustang front end. Ball joints were frozen solid, and my old hammer just bounced like a rubber mallet. Grabbed this Crescent, gave it a couple of firm swings, and those joints finally gave up without me feeling like I was swinging a sledge all day. Weight & Balance: At 4 lbs, it’s got the right heft—enough to break loose rusted parts but still manageable for controlled strikes. You don’t feel like you’re wrestling a boat anchor. Head Material: Forged steel head. No nonsense, no shortcuts. This thing’s built to take abuse and keep its face clean after years in the shop. Safety Feature: Non-sparking design is a nice bonus. If you’ve ever worked near fuel lines or around old tanks, you know how much peace of mind that brings. Face Size: The 2.2-inch face gives you a solid target. When you’re seating a bearing or tapping in a stubborn bushing, that extra surface makes all the difference. Bottom line? This hammer isn’t just a tool—it’s a problem solver. If you’re wrenching on classics and need something that’ll handle the tough jobs without letting you down, this Crescent deserves a spot on your pegboard.

Good hammer, slight offset balance

It is a good size head, not too bulky. Good solid handle. My only complaint is that i wish the handle was a little heavier. The handle is so light compared to the head that it throws off the balance a little and makes certain direction swings difficult. Overall, it is holding up well so far, I use it regularly on my truck for driving car skates.

Yes, I recommend this product.
