This heavy-duty rotary cutter has a round back designed for mowing tight corners and a stump jumper blade pan with 3 in. heat-treated forged blades for a better cut. Durably built for lasting use with a 12-gauge deck, this rotary cutter delivers results all season long.

  • Rugged rotary cutter with a 12-gauge deck construction
  • Balanced stump jumper blade pan with 3 in. heat-treated forged blades

  • Adjustable laminated, puncture-resistant rear wheel
  • Category 1 quick-hitch compatible hookup (Cat 1 pins included with the rotary cutter)

    A: The cotter pin and 38mm castle nut on the bottom of the blade holder will need to be removed and then you may have to take a piece of wood and tap around the outer edge of the blade holder. There are instructions in the owner's manual on removing this.

Mower attachment works great and exactly what we were looking for. The only disappointment was that there is a sticker that says the guards must be attached for safety, but they DON'T come with the cutter. The rubber guards must be special ordered separately. The mfr. should include them with the cutter since they are a safety feature.

The blades were installed (I am told at the factory) incorrectly. Upon slowest rpm speed pto startup, the shear pin immediately sheared of. After third shear pin, I gave up and returned to cutter Tractor supply. Very disappointed. I've operated these same brand and size cutters for many years, never a problem until now.

For the money, it's about as good as you can expect. Easy to assemble, best to use an impact wrench to tighten everything down. Complaints...they spot welded places to save money instead of continuous seams....it ships upright to save space which makes it difficult to load on to a trailer, etc. Plus, they charge a fee to ship it to the local store (seems pretty wrong since they sometimes have them in stock). But yeah, overall I'm happy with it....use it for 5-10 years and buy a new one.

They never have the right parts for the unit at the store, if you have a 40+ hp tractor you better put a slip clutch on it will save you aggravations with shere pins

preformed as it should although it did shear the pin like its supposed to but I did not notice anything i hit with it. I'll have to reevaluate it again after a second time use soon.

GOOD PRICE WORKS GREAT. ASSEMBLY PRETTY EASY FOR A FRIST OWNER, USED A TWO TON CHAIN HIOST TO GET IT OFF THE TRAILER FOR ASSEMBLY, COULD HAVE USED A CHAIN ON THE FRONT END LOADER , ANYWAY I LIKE IT AND IT WAS IN STOCK.

Normal brush hog, works as should. Didn't come w PTO shear bolt and the grease zerks on the tail wheel and tail wheel swivel didn't have check balls. Simple stuff that should be caught in a normal pre-ship inspection.

A reasonably priced rotary mower

This mower is better than many I have considered. It cuts well because of blade tip speed and updraft design. If it had front and rear guards and PTO clutch it would have earned a 5 star rating. I recommend it and encourage buyers to consider adding these modifications.

I bought this mower 4 years ago and have not had any problems. Make sure to add gear oil to box and grease regularly.. I mow 4 acres once a month with some light to medium bush hogging.

Had to beat every bolt loose with two pound sledge and pull one loose with tractor. There was no need to have every bolt tightened with air impact and should have been loosened before sold

Won’t Beat the Price

I needed to replace my 40 year old 5 ft cutter and shopped around for a few weeks and was shocked at the price these are going for these days. To find a new one for this price, you just can’t beat it. I went with the 6 ft cutter and couldn’t be happier with it. Be sure to grab the gear box oil and a few shear bolts or a slip clutch for it.

Called and asked if the store had this cutter in stock and was told they had 1. Asked them to hold it and I was on the way. Drove 45 min to pickup went in payed for it then drove around to load and girl came out and told me it had a sold tag already on it. So just because you call and ask doesn’t mean you get it.
