Significantly smaller than listed size. Width is 4 inches smaller and length is 5 inches smalles.

This is the same tank as is used for chicks in-store. I would not have gone any smaller, and I'm very happy with this purchase. There was plenty of room for the larger waterer and feeder, the heat lamp, and even a heat plate when we decided to transition to that. At 6 weeks, the pullets still have enough room. They obviously want to roam at that age, so they spend about u2/3 of their time in the tank, and all is well. If you intend on raising a group of chicks more than once, get this.

Do not buy this water tank of you're going to use it with water or wet dirt. The interior is NOT galvanized and is bare steel. Outside is galvanized only. Started rusting within weeks of using. Had to replace with a better quality fiber formed one. POC waste of money

Missing plug asked for another- nafa

I ordered 4 of them and then returned them immediately because they were not a true 2x4 size they were 4 different sizes and stacked inside each other like measuring cups.

It was brand new and it leaks. It’s a large item, so I haven’t been able to return it.

These troughs are advertised as 2'x4'x2' dimensions. I understand that metal water troughs are nested in sets of 3 when shipped & to expect an inch or two discrepancy but not 8" to a foot difference. This is false advertising. Which is illegal.

It is very sturdy and easy to clean. I used it for a brooder for my chicks.

I live over an hour from this store. I picked up the first tank and it leaked. Exchanged it for another tank and it leaked also. Returned that tank for a refund. Fortunately, I did not have a float valve attached, or I would have known it was leaking.

Extremely poor workmanship…but all brands seem to be the same poor quality. The main vertical seam is sealed with a tube of silver caulk that looks like it won’t hold up over time

Worked great for my Gold Fish on the front porch. NO leaks so far!

I had recently bought a used stock tank off Facebook marketplace, and wanted two more. I checked availability and chose Tractor Supply. They’ve always had what I need, and have been friendly and helpful over the years. After paying for two tanks, I walked out to the lot where they are stored. The young man that greeted me wasn’t very friendly, but I chalked it up to shyness or maybe he was having a hard day. Not really a problem. As he was collecting my V two V tanks, he had to cut some strapping and remove tanks that were stacked on the ones I was getting. He pulled on a large tank (not the one I was buying) and let it fall onto the concrete, leaving a dent in the edge, near the bottom. He expressed no regret or concern, which caused me to make note - always check for damaged goods! When I got my tanks home and compared them to the used one (a different brand) I was struck by the different in the quality of the construction. The used one was put together much better. Since I’m using these tanks as raised garden beds, it doesn’t matter if they leak, but if I was using them as water tanks, I would have returned them and shopped elsewhere for the competing brand. Rather than welded seams, they are caulked, which will fail at some point. Otherwise, I’ve got what I need to grow some plants!

Just as expected worked perfectly for a brooder , easy to clean.

Arrived rusty and dented. My daughter said it looks like someone used it for two years then returned it. I used same day delivery. Tractor supply was supposed to pick it up, as I was going to return. They said someone would be there Saturday to pick it up. It’s Tuesday. Nobody has come yet.

Great product, holds chicks well and is high enough they can't escape.

Very well made, sturdy, and will definitely hold up to the abuse the live stock pit it through.
