Great addition to the splitter, welds are not super, had to re-weld to toughen it up after the welds failed but no problem since. Try to make sure you keep the wood to about 10" diameter/or split larger rounds into quarters, super easy to switch from 4 way to primary wedge.

So much potential…but falls short.
The good: I like how easy it goes on and off. Nice ring at the top to hang it when not in use.
The bad: the “wings” that make it four way are entirely too small. If you split any thing of even moderate size, it is truly disappointing. It’s fine with 8-10” rounds, but not a whole lot bigger.
Recommendation: Hey manufacturer, you are 90% of the way to a truly good product. Ask your design engineer to step away from the computer and go split some large red oak for an hour or two…then let him do a redesign with longer/wider “wings” and you’ll have a fantastic product.

Works great with the 28 ton splitter. Simple design just drops right on top of the splitting head. I use a piece of wood to shim it up about 3/4 to make my pieces a little bigger. I recommend it. FYI you can only use it in the horizontal position.

Side wings are too short. I know they’re made short to come back through the uprights on the splitter. But due to them being so short. They do not split wood on the side wings.

It works ok but the side cutters should beveled back tarward the main cutter to minimize the effort of four cutting edges starting on the log at the same time. Side cutters are short too. Works best on small wedges and longs. Pro is that it’s quick to take on and off. I will be modifying it.

Very unsatisfying, I received it, and it did not fit due to the weld on the inside of it. Had to return it 😢I sure was looking forward to it to cut my work in half but it did not work out.

Easy on easy off. Works best for logs between 4" and 10". The wings are short by design and stringing wood requires additional handling. Great for red Oak, Poplar, and others wood that splits clean.

I decided to buy it even after the bad reviews, I figured $75 I would try it. I was not thrilled with it, it doesn't split the wood all the way. I try it every once in a while and take its right off.I don't recommend it

The side blades are not long enough to split the wood all they eat through. It is ok for small logs about 6 inches round

Does a great job and works effortlessly. An improvement would be to have extended horizontal wedges but due to design of the splitter it can't be done. Just slides on and off as needed. Flawlessly works on 10-12" still works great on larger logs especially fresh cut.

This lasted no more than 4 hours when a piece of wood broke 3 of the welds on it, causing me to have to buy another for my county line splitter. Hopefully this one holds up
