Great for medium size logs (8-14"diameter) - get 4 PCs per cycle and improves output - wish the horizontal blades were just a bit wider. Does not work well on larger logs.

Works really well. The cross cut wedges need to be a little longer. It doesn't split clear through because of it is not long enough.

Not as handy as you might think

I like how it fits over the standard wedge, easy on and easy off. The problem with it is that the two additional wings that are suppose to split the log into four pieces, dont completely split the log. You have to pick up the partially split log and try to pull it apart to finish the split. It sucks because it's harder than just using the single wedge. Great idea but the wings need to be longer in order to work properly. $70 wasted.

Kinda of works. Puts a lot More stress on splitter. Makes it work harder and doesn’t always split it 4 ways still have to remove and resplit wood.

Terrible welds!

The front weld on the main wedge cracked on the 3rd pass on a 12" log 14" long very disappointed plan on taking it back as soon as i find the time off work, would not recommend.

This 4-way is amazingly helpful! I don't need to bend to the ground as much as I did before after splitting a large piece of wood in half in order to split the 2 halves that fell because it splits the one large piece into fourths all at once & gets the job done in half the time! I am very happy with this purchase.

Didn't work as well as expected! 4-way wedge seems to be to short to do the job properly. It should be splitting in one pass instead or having to reload log everything witch defeats the purpose.

The website only said for 25 ton Countyline log splitters. When it arrived, the box said for 2018 splitters and newer. Guess what? It wouldn't fit over the factory wedge on my splitter. Not happy.

4 Way Splitter

Easy to use, just drop it on the wedge and start splitting. It would be nice to have it adjustable. Seems like if you wanted the log to be split a bit larger on the bottom side of the log you are splitting you are stuck with the dimension it is welded to the 4 way split wedge. It depends on the individual and what you may want to carry from the wood pile to your stove and the burn time you may want when running your stove. It does make splitting a log faster because you don't have to run the ram as many times back and forth to split a log. Good quality and not effort to put in place or remove. Yes I would recommend it. I purchased this as a birthday gift for my son. It fits his log splitter which he also purchased from tractor supply. The one thing he noted was that when using the splitter in the vertical position the attachment slips off at the end but he made some adjustments and it worked just fine!!

The two side wedges don’t seem long enough most logs I’m having to either pull apart by hand or run the splitter another time to finish the split. Crossing point seems too high as it does not split a piece (the same diameter as the height of the wedge) in 4 equal parts. After just the second use the tips of the side wedges are starting to bend. Seems easier to split without it.

High welds.

works well after some welding on inner welds for fit. First got the 4 way and inner welds prevented the 4 way from sliding onto the splitter head.

This 4 way wedge doesn't work very well, the two horizontal blades aren't long enough, after splitting a log, i still have to pull the 4 pieces apart by hand, honestly I wish i hadn't bought it.
