I have used this 3 times, trimmed over a 1000 ft of fence. It does 90% of the job. I agree with the other reviews. it would be easy to get the 3-point hitch on backwards (I assembled it myself) I don't think one bolt hold the head on is enough and you can't tighten the nut I add a second bolt and 2 nuts backed up together. I left my bottom links loose for more give. You have to be able to get to both sides of the fence, it skips the back side of the post. I used it around buildings, and it did a good job, still on the string. YTL have been easy to work with.

Not worth it

Built like it was designed on a Monday or a friday.
Spring back threaded rod assembly is not strong nor a well designed mechanism. Mine snapped after 30 minutes and then it was almost 10 weeks for a new one to be delivered.
The ( 1) bolt that comes to attach it to frame is a horrible design.
Definitely needs ( 2) long bolts to keep it balanced better.
Should also have a 2nd wheel or a means to balance the unit better . Its really not on the ground and balanced with one wheel . Appears after using the fence line trimmer it has a lot of stress/weight on the one wheel.
I do NOT recommend.

Interesting concept, with a specific purpose.

So after researching offset trimers I checked out the ones made by DR & Titan. Both of those run between 1500-1800$. Then I found this one at TSC for 829$. It looks identical to the Titan one. For a 1000$ in savings I figured I would give it a shot. I picked mine up today. Overall its a good design however there are something's to know.
First regardless of what it says, it is not quick hitch compatible. I have two different name brand quick hitch's and it’s too wide for both. 28 inch vs 26.
Second, it will not work on sub compact tractors as well. I have four tractors and as built it would only work on my larger machines but without the quick hitches.
Third it was assembled incorrectly at TSC , with the three point hitch was mounted backwards my first mounting to tractor caused it to bend when I raised lift.
Regardless of it being rated for 45 hp. I personally would not exceed 30hp.
Yes, I recommend this product.
