The welded hydraulic cylinder's ductile iron piston utilizes a wear ring to protect the seal from wear. You can trust its quality because the cylinder has been functionally tested and pressurized to 1.5 times the normal working pressure to ensure performance reliability.Note: This product may require up to 2 additional days for order processing prior to shipping

Excellent replacement for my John Deere 40 Loader

Purchased the loader hydraulic cylinders for the bucket of my John Deere 40 Loader. They perform just as well and a fraction of the cost of a new John Deere cylinder. They are actually only slightly more than rebuilding the cylinders. Although the bore is slightly smaller, cannot tell a difference in performance of the bucket. The new Chief cylinders have been used more than the rebuilt ones I had on the tractor (that started leaking) and have no issues so far. Even if they did, they have a 2 year warranty. I already picked out the Chief cylinders to replace my boom cylinders when they start leaking. The boom ones have the same bore as the old.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Work Great on 235 MF loader with a little fab work

Bought these for a late '80s Massey Ferguson 235 loader on a 240 tractor. This particular loader has 1" pins the cylinders have 1 1/4" holes, I bought 4 bushings at the local Tractor Supply and welded them in cylinder to fit the loader pins. The old cylinders had 1/2" ORB fittings and the Chief cylinders have 3/8" ORB, instead of having new hoses made up and throwing away good hoses I found 4 90deg elbow fittings 3/8" male ORB and 1/2" female ORB to make it work. I know this sounds like a lot of trouble to make this work but you can save a lot of money if you can weld these bushings in or have someone do it for you.
