1 Answer
  • A: Hello, the charging port on the Chapin 4 Gal. Cordless Backpack Sprayer (Model 60120) is located on the bottom of the sprayer base, typically near the on/off switch. Since this model features an internal battery, you do not remove the battery to charge it; instead, you plug the included charging cord directly into the port on the unit.

Zero star - complete failure!

What a idiot I am; this is my second one of these!!! For this one, it is my forth time using this thing. I filled it with herbicide, surfactant and blue dye so I could see where I sprayed. Leaked all down my back and legs...wow! The blue dye doesn't come off easily...UNBELIEVABLE. I have a picture but this TS review form, while there is a place for images, there is not functional to do so...I guess to limit the negativity associated with a visual. Avoid this unit and anything else made by Chapin - horrific quality, bad design and terrible engineering of a very simple product.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Poor initial quality; senseless battery conversion

Terrible initial quality and senseless upgrade to good product.  First, the clamp that holds the pump in the tank was broken, right out of the box. Luckily I still had my old sprayer that I cannibalized to use on the new one. Second, what was wrong with using the Black and Decker 20v Max battery, great collaboration ?  Now, I have to take the whole tank over to an outlet to charge, with your switch to an internal battery. I see that change as intentional limited lifetime. You guys are idiots; you need a new R&D and Marketing team.  I’ll shop your competitors next time.

No, I do not recommend this product.
