This Selenium 90 Trace Mineral Block is cattle feed specially formulated with trace minerals to help meet the requirements of beef cattle. The livestock feed includes trace minerals that complement the diet to help promote digestion, growth, maintenance of body tissues, proper reproductive processes, and general animal well-being. Cured white muscle disease
5 days ago
I was losing a few lambs and necropsy determined white muscle disease. My sheep immediately had injections of selenium and I began using these blocks for sheep and cattle. The cattle went crazy for it over other salt/mineral blocks which tells me they were deficient too. The calves have been doing much better health-wise as well. Best to check the selenium content of the soils for your area and if they run deficient, such as is the case in far west Texas, provide this supplement.
