I feel that being finer than most salt granules, it seemed to work faster

We had a freaking snow ice storm in the NE.Rock salt wasn't available anywhere. Saw this online bought 2 bags and it worked perfect for the driveway.

Works well. I use around paddock when icy so i don’t have to worry about the animals ingesting it

Easy to mixed with the minerals we have to buy someplace else.

This product should be boycotted until this company stops using Yellow Prussiate of Soda as an anti-caking agent. This has made me ill every time I have used it. I wasn't sure the first few times, thinking it was something else, but this has happened so many times that I am sure now. I believe it is from inhaling the dust while using it, even though I have used a face mask (it might be better with a respirator). The cyanide in Yellow Prussiate of Soda is generally believed to be safe to eat, though many say it is not at all. But breathing the dust is definitely a know health risk. Also, the product description says that only some bags include this anti-caking agent, but I have not been able to find any at Tractor Supply that does not have it in the ingredients. So today I am out of work sick again because of this. I'm sure not everyone is as sensitive as I am to things like this, but I believe it still affects the health of all users even if the effects are not as extreme as they are on me. Champion's Choice really should switch to something safer or, even better, just use straight salt. This may also effect the health of cattle if they eat it regularly, since I have seen plenty of articles saying ingesting it is bad for your health, and subsequently this may make the food that comes from that livestock unhealthy also. From now on, I will be using straight bulk salt instead of this product. The 40lb ones I found are listed as a water softener, but the only ingredient is salt so that will work as a good replacement.

When I went to the store, this had been substituted with livestock mineral. The replacement has trace minerals in it so it's not the same.

The item pictured is in a plastic bag. I ordered almost 90 of these from multiple stores and received paper bags. I use them for snow removal, so you can imagine that this is not acceptable. They’ve always been in plastic bags which only makes sense since it is salt we are talking about. Very disappointed.

Use this as an added supplement with other products. The salt draws them in with other products creating a balanced nutrient rich diet.

Easy to feed, good quality & cheap

I’m not sure if I’m over reacting but I ordered this for curbside pick and they just put it in my truck. I assumed they gave me the one but they gave me a different kind of mixing salt not a huge deal salt is salt but if you’re at the Franklin TN location just make sure they gave you the right product that you ordered before leaving.
