After using 3 times the recoil starter return spring broke. Although under warranty for 2,5 more years the part is unavailable in both the US and Canada. The manufacturer will not accept any phone calls and will not return any emails. There is no use trying to take it for repair since no one has the part!!!!

Saved us from Helene in WNC!

I bought this generator a few years ago when a snow storm was projected for the NC mountains. Little did I know I would need it for the remnants of hurricane Helene hitting the Asheville NC area. This unit has not run 24 hrs a day for 7 days since we’ve been without power. I’m running some lamps, TV and fridge so we can survive. I guess its name”Champion” is well earned!

This generator is outstanding right out of the box. It has a small gasoline tank that holds about 2.5 gallons, and will run about 7 hours on this tank. I'm impressed that it started on the 1st crank right out of the box. I was impressed of the value and the quality of this product.

An Outstanding Portable Inverter Generator! I picked it up the day after I ordered it online. The Tractor Supply Company is only 4 blocks away! Very easy to set up out of the box. After putting oil in, and gasoline. I started it on the 2nd pull. So quiet and very reliable. I ran it for over an hour with no load, and the gasoline level still looked full! Great product Champion! This 2000 Watt inverter generator is perfect for those times you require portable 120V AC power for an extended period. As a CPAP user, a battery wasn't going to work using the devices heated options during my 9 day hunting trip in remote Nevada. I placed this very quiet 2000 Watt generator away from camp using a long extension cord along with a small power strip to run my CPAP and to charge our phones and watches overnight. You could barely hear the generator running, almost like a low humming sound. To be honest, I enjoyed a little 'white-noise' to help cover up the snoring from the other hunters.

I chose this 2,000 watt inverter generator because a friend of mine has been using two of these generators in parallel to power his off-grid cabin for two years now. We use this generator as a source for emergency power. It is capable of supplying electricity to our refrigerator and some lights inside the house. By temporarily unplugging the refrigerator we can run our electric skillet, or our coffee maker (but not both at the same time). It's capacity is not big enough to run a decent-sized electric space heater, so (in an emergency) we use our wood-burning fireplace for heat. The generator starts easily. The instructions are thorough and easy to read - as will all gasoline-powered engines, propery care and mainentance is important. We keep our gasoline treated with fuel stabilizer all the time. We are happy with our purchase.

I had gotten this as an as is item off the shelf. They didn't know what was wrong. It has been returned. Looked like it was in great condition. Found out piston seized. They ran it with no oil... Filled the top of cylinder with oil and let it sit a day. Came back drained it and pulled the rope. Once I had moved it a couple times up and down, I put gas in and she started first pull. Runs like a dream. Got 19 hours straight on eco mode running a few lights and a heater.
