Love the Castle pellet stove. Love it Soooo much I just bought a new one and gave the old one to my son. The old one is about 9 yrs old. Still runs great. But they were on sale. And this one will probably be my last. Highly recommend it..Easy to run and clean. Love the big nite lite (the door puts out a nice glow).

Don't give up, great little pellet stove once you tune it in. I had problems with it shutting down on high temp on level 2,3 &4, unless i had a fan blowing on it from the side, but ran fine on level 1 & 5. I tried setting the fan settings different ways, it got hot enough or because the fan i had put beside it made too big a temperature difference that the glass in the stove door cracked. I reset everything to factory and even changed my stoves location and piping configuration. Frustrated, i called tech support, they explained that settings had to be incrementally higher for each setting, meaning they couldn't all have fan speed 8, although the fan seems to run on high when on level 1 and 5. I set up each level, had increased fan speed (both blower and feed level increased for each setting). Since doing this, it has run flawlessly through all settings... why can't it be factory set up to work? Idk. All i know is its quieter than most pellet stoves, and works great now. It's worth the trouble to figure out the settings. The menus and settings were easier for me to figure out by simply pushing buttons to see what worked. Tech support was great both times i called, the first time about the glass and settings (the new glass was shipped right out for free, and i got it about 4 days later), the first tech was difficult to understand as far a fan speed setup. The second call was when i was most frustrated about settings, i got a woman, who was much easier to follow and understand when she explained the setup of the fans/ blowers. Pro: Small size, quiet, installation of stove had close to wall requirements (7"from wall?!). Tech support was decent and wait time acceptable. Repair part sent for free without hassle. Cons: Menu system is difficult to understand till you just drop the book and start figuring it out, fan setup instructions suck. Small hopper (only holds a bag, and usually have to fill it up a half bag at a time). Small hint smell of smoke if starting cold with cold flue until it ignites. The exhaust port seems undersized for the vent pipe. I was told to use more high temp sealant, which reduced but didn't completely stop the angel, but since it's only at startup and minimal, I'll deal with it, i kinda like the smell of wood burning anyway and putting so much sealant on it to stop it may frustrate taking the pipe off for cleaning. I'd rather a hint of smoke than fighting to get a pipe apart. USE BLACK high temp SEALANT, it comes apart easier than the other red/ or yellow brands and does the same thing. I would recommend the stove. Mines finally running a expected... just prepare for a learning curve. I like the eco setting turned on, in the temp mode. It can be controlled by temp/ manual/ thermostat/ and with eco on our off. (Eco mode shuts stove down and turns it back on a needed automatically, whereas eco mode off, keeps stove running on low setting and increases the level depending on need. I'm in temperature mode with echo turned on, and the stove fan and fire level adjust up and down automatically and it's very comfortable to me. When I had problems with fan settings and running it on manual setting, you can only pick a level and that's where it stays, so i found myself bouncing between level 1 & 5 till i figured out the fan settings. I wish this stove worked better and didn’t glitch all of the time. It is VERY fickle and needs constant attention. We have had it almost a year and have constant issues with it shutting off. You cannot let the pellets get low at all and when I say low, I mean 1/4 of the way down from full or it triggers a button and shuts the whole stove off. Now we are having another issue and it keeps saying low temperature and shuts off. My husband is constantly having to take the side of the stove off and push a reset button inside that gets triggered off. My parents bought the stove at the same time and has also not been happy with it for the same reasons.

Having owned 4 other pellet stove over the years, as well as others family and friends owned, I find this pellet stove to be a great one. The auger and fans are quieter than most. Pros: Quiet fans and motors. Heats well. Compact size. Minimal clearance required from walls, firepot air holes more thanadequate to prevent chunks from forming. Quick to lite. Cons: Small hopper capacity, but adequate as long as you check it a couple times a day. Menu system is a bit confusing, but i find the manual settings adequate for my use, although you can set up daily settings and temp based use. I'm not a fan of the ash pan, but it seems to work fine. Other than that, it's good.

Have been using for 2 months and I am impressed. Stove works very well no problems.

Good heater good price easy to use and setup and puts out good heat exhaust vent easy to install, did this all diy in a few hours to heat my front kitchen and 3 season porch and works fine

easy to operate, instructions and maintenance are simple and ash box design is excellent.heats home quickly.

The stove works. Except that the exhaust pipe does not fit tight with the pipe kit (elbows, adapters). So there’s a slight amount of smoke coming in. I like the modes it has to use pellets as you hit a desired temp. I hope to tape it around but it will be nice if the company figures a way to have an exhaust end that fits snug with the piping kits out in the market. Unless they make their own. But that’s not an option.

Not a terrible pellet stove, it's small footprint and 40lb hopper are a bonus. I wish there was a way to use a wall thermostat. Eco setting not optimal. On a positive note, it puts out a ton of heat.

This is the second Castle Serenity Pellet Stove we have owned (the first was sold with our prior home). At the lowest fan setting it is whisper quiet! Heats really well, too. Well worth the money!

Have had mine for 7 winters going on 8th. Great stove with no issues. Mine doest have auto on off feature. Take care of it and put some stove oil on inside during summer to prevent rust.

Ordered the stove, received it and unpacked, hooked it up, and nothing happened. Seems the wrong computer and control panel was somehow wrongly hooked up at manufacturing facility. They sent me a new, and it took me 2 hours to make the change. All is good now.

Great stove! Second stove. Love software up grade on the newer stove.

This is my second one and I love it my first one I had for 9 years I use it in a 900 square foot garage it always starts it keeps the garage at 70 when the temperature is 20 degrees out side I got a new one because i am getting ready to retire I wanted a new one

Since installation we have had nothing but problems. One type of alarm after another. Currently won't feed pellets or light.

Easy to install… had it up and running in less than half an hour… we already had piping through the wall…keeping us cozy on this snowy day!

I have had my Castle for about 8 seasons now. With no problems. Love the stove...and if I need to replace this one someday. This is my second one it as been a great stove never broke down in 9 years

I have had my Castle for at least 7 -8 years. Very happy with it. Love the easy access and cleaning. The big window makes for a great nite light. Don't have nothing bad to say about it. If and when it's time to replace this one... It will be with another Castle
