The Carry-On Trailer EZ Lube Idler Axle has a 88 in. hub face and 74.5 in. spring seat spacing. The idler axle fits 5-lug wheels with 4.5 in. bolt pattern. - A: There is a black plug that is removable in the center of the dust cap on the axle. Remove the plug and you will see a grease zerk (fitting for a grease gun). You can buy grease cylinders for the grease gun that are Lithium Complex Auto Motive Bearing Grease. Do not over fill the grease. You can push the rear seal out.2 years agoHelpful?

Q: I just purchased a 88/74 easy lube axle For my 6 x 10 Anderson utility trailer. After purchasing it and getting it home it says track length 74.5 why does the specs online say 74 track length which that's what I measure from the center of the springs?

My trailer got hit in the driver side tire at 55 mph as you can imagine it bent it betond repair so i went and got the axel from tractor supply and it was a perfect fit right down to the springs and hardware i needed . It is a good heavy duty axel good price top quality I recommend if you are in need of a axel for your trailer get it from tractor supply you cannot go wrong

I needed a new axel and everyone else was going to to be a couple of weeks, Tractor supply had the exact one I needed on the shelf. They also had all the hardware I needed to replace the axel.

Axle broke on a Saturday late afternoon when I was almost finished mowing for the day and it needed to be fixed before Monday mornings work day. So happy this store exists. Was so easy to replace the old axle with the new one. A lot quicker to replace then I thought it would take. You just install it and put the tires and ready for work.
