From a distance my trailer looks really sharp! But once you are up close to it, the quality becomes apparent. I've only pulled it 10 miles from the dealer's lot to my house, and inspected it more closely when I got home.
* It has an inspection sticker with the date, code #, and trailer #, (but no data).
*There are gaps in the silicone sealant at the top of the trailer, just at the front on left and right sides where the side sheeting and aluminum trim curve to form the Vee-nose, they don't have quite the same radius. More care should have been taken to put a wider bead in this area.
*The rubber ripped pretty much immediately on the side door hold-back.
* The L.E.D. marker lights on the sides were installed crooked, (minor detail, but was simple to do correctly at the factory, but easy to straighten by me)
* Poor quality looking welds on frame at front of trailer, (lots of spatter and probably the shield gas pressure was too low.) I can do lots better and I'm an amateur/ hobby welder.
* Paint on the hitch has poor adhesion, probably from poor prep with solvent, (surface was still oily from manufacture when it was painted to match the frame)
* All three clearance lights at rear of trailer above the door were not connected, (they were concealed by aluminum covers but one of the wires happened to be sticking out from behind)
* Wiring harness had been pinched or ripped in two by the hitch, so there were no tail or clearance lights(dealer fixed immediately when I picked it up though)
* The aluminum tread plate at the front of trailer was bent up where it was cut to fit around the frame, (can be easily fixed)
*The aluminum around the hinges below the ramp door was cut too large and crooked.
* This trailer is marketed as a 6' x 12' (72" x 144") but is actually 68" x 141", measured from the ramp door to the Vee.
* The paint quality on the frame of the roof of trailer is very poor lots of drips and runs, but sufficient thickness.
The trailer will function fine for me once i get the lights working and the trailer sealed well, but I was expecting better quality. Maybe my experience was unique, but the reason for buying instead of building one was to have the "professionally built" look.

Awful purchase /don't buy a carry on trailer

Awful purchase, Tractor Supply sold me a damaged trailer. It was clearly damaged during shipping and when I saw the damage an hour after I left tractor supply I took a picture of it. I called tractor supply when I got home and told them about the damage and was told I had 90 days to exchange it. That was good because it was filled with 68 bales of hay. I continually called customer service and asked when I could exchange it and nothing was on the lots. When a trailer finally arrived then I was told I couldn't exchange it that I needed to deal with carry on. Carry on is trying to say I did this damage myself which is laughable because you can clearly see it is crush damage from shipping. So I worked A LOT of overtime to save $5000 to buy a new enclosed trailer instead of buying used at half the price because I didn't want to take the chance of getting a trailer that leaks because it was holding my hay. Low and behold it leaks and I'm stuck with it through no fault of my own. Not only that there is an electrical issue and the drip edge wasn't sealed so water leaks into the gasket around the ramp which then freezes and I need to pry the ramp open. This was the absolute worst purchase I have ever made. Would not recommend a carry in trailer to anyone.

Picked up one of these from TS. Quality of the unit was really bad, thin walls, rust on frame, marks on frame, marks on inside trailer, water damage. Had to return it. Waste of time. I will say TS took care of me and refunded me, however it was a 6 hour waste of time. Do Not Buy. TS please remove this supplier and pick up a more quality one please.

Have about 1000 miles on it, and 4 trips. works well and solid. Wish I purchased one sooner. I kept thinking I would never have enough need to justify. I was wrong. There are so many choices to look at. And I spent many weeks checking out the difference. It came down to value for the dollar. Plus TSC financing.

This trailer was on sale (reduced 499) when I purchase it. I consider it worth more than the price I paid. It is a single axel, so the weight it can carry is limited. But the limit is within the range I will carry. I may even use it as a camping prospect. Way to go TS!

Carry-On enclosed trailer is made well

Ended up buying all three available trailers in NY for my business! Made surprising well with interior walls and ramp made with real plywood, no particle board.. Has strong hinges and latches, 2" chassis square tubing and two bright interior lights that can be turned off with a button switch. Exterior siding well made with rounded front and roof. Has bright and worry-free side marker lights and high rear brake LED lights and a high license plate mount with light. The ramp has a perfect spring resistance for raising and lowering ramp that has ground bumpers and a fold down ramp lip. I ended up using waterproofing clear coat with non-skid on ramp and placed a piece of aluminum diamond plate on flip down to reduce wear from hand truck wheels. Also place a full cutout diamond plate rubber flooring over plywood floor to prevent water saturation and possible wood rot over time. Needed wood block for front hand jack to lift it high enough to get onto my already lowered hitch coupler. Added Carry-On spare tire mount and dual wheel swivel hand jack on A-frame. Has good tires and had no sway or problems cruising about 70mph with a GMC Sierra 2500HD.

So far seems ok. Has already had 1 screw rattle out of it on the way home which was 10 miles. Interior smells strong of chemicals. Hopefully in time that goes away. Wish it had a roof vent.

In the heat of the battle (divorce) and commuting from Florida to Georgia (my mom's) rather than paying a mover or renting a u-haul (which with gas prices) Yow! This Baby Is "The BEE'S KNEES" (heard that somewhere?).
Got all my stuff and had storage for it when I moved here, GA. Now I'm taking it to the flee market and getting rid of my "HOARDING" Having my own "Clean House" but I got to choose which "Old BAGGAGE" I got rid of.(eww. grammer)
But seriously folks it tracks like a dream, you can forget its there.(trust me on that one) I even handled the hitching and the backing up like a pro once I got some practice , at my age (a woman never tells) Is more like teaching a really old dog new tricks.
***one note careful! Heavy tongue weight can cause a reduction of steering control. Center the heavy over the axle and distribute evenly.****
DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME: On the final trip I even saved
a motel fee by packing my bed first. LOL

perfect trailer!

This is a great trailer, perfect for multiple uses and great quality! I've moved several times and it has made life so much easier! My family is always borrowing it for one reason or another. Mine has a ramp door on it which make loading heavy objects much easier. I will hook up just to tow a washer and dryer instead of putting it in the truck bed because it's so much easier. I like having the enclosed trailer because weather is no longer an issue and when I'm not using it I can store anything in it, lock the doors, and park it. This trailer is perfect if you do lawn work or anything like that. You just hook up and go, work right out of the trailer, and come home and park it. Great trailer, everyone needs a trailer like this!
