I used to buy Carhartt shirts due to their excellent quality and consistency. I have had a batch of shirts I bought about 8 years ago that were all the same color, and I have worn them every day, and they are worn out and faded, but still comfy and solid. I bought a new batch of shirts just 4 months ago. After 2 wash cycles the shirt is pilling horribly! I couldn't believe how terrible the shirts are. They are now rough inside and out. Plus, they are much thinner than my old shirts (measured with a caliper, very noticable difference). I want a quality product that will last. I don't care if they cost 2 or 3X as much. I will gladly pay for a quality product, but these are garbage now. I would not recommend these shirts for anybody that previously bought these. You will be disappointed. Consider different brands.
