Kills Kudzu

Kudzu was starting to take over my driveway. Igot this a couple of weeks ago and the Kudzu is now dead. I mixed it in a gallon sprayer with water and a quart of mineral oil, then sprayed all the kudzu within reach if my sprayer. It rained that night and I was worried it wouldn't work. Yet the next day the leaves were drooping, and within a week they were yellowing. Its been two weeks and the vines are also brown and yellowing. I don't know if it will kill it to the root, or how quick it will come back, but I will pull the dead down and spray again.

Need better instructions for small spray container

I haven’t used the product yet because I can’t find on the instructions how much to use for 1gal or 2 gal spray container. The instructions are like for large containers where fields would be sprayed. I may need to return the product

Disappointed With How I Received This Product

My local Tractor Supply locations around me didn’t have this in stock, so I ordered it on line. When I received it, I followed instructions and shook the jug well. When I opened it, the inside of the jug was full of clumps that I can only describe as what looked like Pine Tree sap. It wasn’t just a little, it was a lot! I wasted a lot of product trying to filter the liquid from the solids. My neighbor suggested this product to me. I took my jug over to him, and he had no clue why mine looked so different. He pulled his jug out of his shop, and his had no chunks at all. For what I paid for this small jug, It’s not worth it, and I don’t recommend it.

Blackberries hate it, I love it

Once during spring leaf-out or fall pre-dormancy and nasty blackberry vines are good and dead. It sometimes feels like a never-ending battle, but with Brushtox I think I'm getting the upper hand. Also works on the poison oak that has started coming into the field. More effective on these woody pests than glyphosate.

I am plagued with elm trees i use this to control the new ones that get past me and the larger ones i have drilled holes at a angle down and immediately filled the holes with this and it takes a bit but they do die !!! LOVE THIS POISON FOR KILLING ELMS I USE A LOT AS MY NEBORS DONT TREAT THERE ELM JUNGLE i vaccumed up 9 trash dumpster of elm seed this year alone

We tried other 'killers' to get rid of unwanted Wisteria -- none of them worked. A friend did some research and found out that weed killers containing Triclopy will get rid of Wisteria. The Brushtox Brush Killer with Triclopyr contained the largest percentage of Triclopy, and it worked on the first application! We are SO glad!

Worked well on blackberries / brambles

This is the only product I've ever used that completely killed rampant blackberries and brambles in my open fields. Like other customers, I could not find how much to use in a 2-gal hand-pump sprayer. Contacted the mfr and they said 6.4 oz / gal. This is ridiculous. I could tell just from the strong smell of this stuff that 6.4 oz was WAY too much, so I started with 0.75 oz / gal, which worked pretty well after a fall spraying, and now use 1.0 oz / gal to ensure complete kill. This stuff creates an emulsion, not a solution, when mixed in water, so you have to shake the tank periodically, according to the instruction booklet. The brambles I sprayed last fall are dead as a doornail this spring, and the brambles I sprayed this spring are dying quickly.

Works well on scrub oak

I use this on scrub oak, (white oak). I cut the tree down, then spray the stump immediately with concentrated Brushtox. It will kill that stump. Now white oak spreads through the roots. There are normally multiple trees all in the same root system. It will only stop the cut tree from regrowing. The other trees and roots will remain active. Touch up sprays on new suckers may be needed for a year or two.

After trying several other brush/weed killers with little to no success, I heard about BRUSHTOX and purchased it from Tractor Supply. Two days after applying BRUSHTOX I could see my weed/brush problem starting to die. Within five days everything was dead and now even after 12 months, NOTHING has returned !!! GREAT PRODUCT !!

Stuff works. This chemical is strong use protection; pants, mask, gloves, glasses etc. Use caution and mix appropriate amounts in mixture for your intended use. I used for tree sprouts, brush and roots. Each requires different mix ratio. Takes a few weeks to see full results even though you may see the surface looking better. It takes a few weeks to work it’s magic underground in the roots.
